With their hard-aggressive sound ripping out of the speaker's womb, to their catchy melodies that navigate you through the tsunami of sounds, to their aggressive and passionate stage presence; YNEZ is making their mark known in the Spanish Alternative Rock scene. Influenced by politics, investigational hit pieces and life experiences, YNEZ makes it clear ─they're unapologetic. YNEZ's music is a blend of attitude and rock with musical influences by such bands as: Jane's Addiction, Nine Inch Nails, Rage Against The Machine, Heroes Del Silencio and La Ley.
YNEZ's independent six song EP release of Ex Nihilo, -Out Of nothing-, produced by Michael Rozon at SSCF in Toluca Lake, CA was a stepping stone for this young band of Los Angeles. The boys went on to film their first video for their single, Tempestades, in late July of 2008 with Seventh Art Entertainment, Level Entertainment and MTV3 at The Shrine Auditorium –making them the first Spanish rock band to record a music video where The Oscar's and The Emmys were once held.
YNEZ went on a Southern California promotional tour in late 2008 to Univision 34 in Los Angeles, El Show De Lupita Lomeli Univision in Fresno, MTV3, ETV, JC The Show, 1270AM La Voz in Palm Springs, commercials spots on 107.1FM La Super Estrella, 360 Live.com, Pirate Cat Radio, El Rey Theatre, House Of Blues Hollywood, The Whisky A Go-Go, Fais Doo-Doo, Los Angeles Music Theatre, Fox Theatre, El Cid Theatre, Troubadour, Fiesta Patrias: Fresno, Santa Ana, Echo Park and East Los Angeles and appearing at City of Hope bone marrow drive in Pico Rivera, CA alongside Beto Cuevas through Luis Medina and Uno Productions.
As of mid 2009 the boys of YNEZ have been working and finalizing the material for their new 10-song album, Deus Ex Maquina, -The God Within The Machine, to be released in 2010 and to be produced by Diego Verdaguer 2009 2 time Latin Grammy nominee for best ranchero album of the year, Mexicano Hasta Las Pompas, and best single of the year, Voy A Conquistarte. Since its conception in September of 2004 YNEZ has pushed through the barriers of the Spanish/English paradigm, modernizing the Alternative Spanish Rock Sound.

El disco EP independiente de YNEZ, contiene 6 canciones, titulado Ex Nihilo, -De la Nada-, producido por Michael Rozon en SSCF en Toluca Lake, CA. Ha sido un escalón importante para esta joven banda de Los Angeles. A mediados del 2009, YNEZ han estado trabajado y finalizando el material para su nuevo material discográfico, con contenido de 10 canciones, titulado Deus Ex Maquina,- El Dios entre las Máquinas-, tentativamente a ser comercializado en el 2010 y ser producido por Diego Verdaguer, 2 veces nominado para el Grammy por mejor disco ranchero, Mexicano hasta las Pompas, y por mejor sencillo del año por Voy a Conquistarte. Desde su concepción en septiembre del 2004, YNEZ ha venido derribando barreras del paradigma español/inglés, modernizando el sonido del Rock Alternativo en español.
